Before Your First Visit

While creating a customized treatment plan, we will review our findings with you and will be able to provide recommendations. The goal is optimal oral health.

Before Your First Visit

Here at American Dental of LaGrange, we aim to make your first visit as easy and as comfortable as possible.

New Patient Paperwork

In order to succeed at this endeavor, we highly recommend that – before your first visit – you stop by our office to obtain the new patient paperwork that we require for each of our patients.

Upon completing and submitting this documentation, our team will review it and get to know you and the dental needs that you have a bit better. If you would rather wait until the day of your visit, we recommend coming in approximately 15 to 30 minutes early in order to complete the new patient packet.

The Comprehensive Exam

While many patients have the desire to immediately start their dental care, the first visit will consist of a comprehensive exam. This is necessary so that we may create a customized treatment plan that specifically caters to you, individually.

During this examination, our dental team will examine each of your teeth, inquire about your medical and dental history, review any previous dental work that has been performed, take diagnostic digital x-rays, conduct a complete periodontal screening, and inspect your mouth for any signs of oral cancer.

As soon as our team has conducted the examination, a customized dental plan will be created for you.

Your Mouth is Our Mission

As you well know, your mouth is our mission. While creating a customized treatment plan, we will review our findings with you and will be able to provide recommendations. The goal is optimal oral health.

Before your first visit, we ask that you prepare yourself to be open-minded and that you know and understand that we want to make you as healthy as possible.

In addition to recommendations, we will also be able to provide you with educational materials and other types of information on your at-home dental health regimen, nutritional requirements for a healthy smile, and any suggestions about lifestyle choices that may be detrimentally impacting your oral health.

We are excited to serve you and to help you reach your highest level of health – both orally and as a whole. To get started, call us today to set up your first appointment.
