Motivate yourself

So you have started down the road to a healthier, lighter you. A week or so has passed and life is catching up with you. Suddenly, this nutrition and workout plan just isn't as exciting as it was to begin with. You have officially lost your MO!

Read on to find out what the Top Motivating Ways to Keep You on the Weight Loss Track.

Your Why

Take me back to why you started? What made you decide to lose weight? Your Why is exactly what you need to remind yourself of every time you feel like giving up. No one said it would be easy, so why did you want it in the first place. Your Why has to be what keeps you going. Think about this Where will you be 6 months from now? If you don't follow through who will be affected?

Tanget! Attempting to greatly up-date the overarching design for my existing website. Reactions regarding the sharp design of http://childrensdentalhealthcare.com? Definitely an honest pediatric dental clinic in Burlington when required within the Ontario region. Value a remark. Many thanks!

Keep a Record

Losing weight is no laughing matter! This is an area of your life where you need to be in control. One sure fire way we can do this is by tracking the foods you eat, times you eat, how you feel. These factors will change the way you look and think about food. Think about it for a secondhow do you feel after a large Thanksgiving Dinner? Most pass out for a couple of hours. Many people would attribute the sleepiness to the natural sedative found in the Turkey called tryptophan, which plays a small role, but in reality you just consumed hundreds of calories mostly carbs, in one meal weighing you down putting you to sleep for a short nap.

I am not saying all carbs are bad, but the carbs that are sweet and processed will definitely cause the blood sugar levels to rise quickly and drop just as fast making people feel tired and irritable.

So, keep a journal of all the details of your daily intakes to include water. Dont forget to include weekly weigh-ins. This will help you see where you are at and how far you have come. If possible chart your progress in a graph format. This way you will be able to see how you are doing over the long haul rather than just week to week. Because there will be some weeks when you lose and others where your weight just isn't budging. Looking at this will give you the motivation to keep on going if you can see long term results.

Join a Challenge Group

Join an online challenge group and make friends with others that have similar goals. Seeing you other challengers accomplish small goals will inspire you and motivate you even when you feel like eating a pizza and watching Greys Anatomy rather than getting up to do a quick 30 minute workout. The guilt factor is a powerful thing. A group of people all rooting for you isn't something to be taken for granted. After all, if everyone knows you, they will know you missed your workouts and maybe fell off the wagon and can help ya back up.

I personally am in a new challenge group every 60 days if nothing else just to hold myself accountable. It is too hard to go at this alone. You've got to have a partner, more the better. This has been one of the top motivating factors for me.

Penny Pincher?

Maybe you should be! Have you purchased that gym membership and haven't been in months? Have you purchased countless workout programs like P90x and kept promising yourself that you will get to it? Now is the time. Don't throw away your money. Use it! Remember that with all Beachbody products, you have a coach that is FREE to you. Use them!!! Make your dollars count.

Little Itty Bitty Bikini

What is the one thing that you can't wait to wear? Whether it's the itty bitty bikini or the little black dress, you need to get out and put it front and center in your closet. You need to keep this within eyes view every day so that you have a constant reminder of what you are working towards. Visual reminders are a great way to stay motivated.

Spread the Word

It's really hard to throw your commitment out the window when you have told everyone you know about it. This will definitely require you to get out of your comfort zone and let others know what you are doing. But by that very act you will be holding yourself accountable. I am the worst at letting others know what my goals are in fear that I may fail. But I am always more successful when I shout from the mountain tops. Give it a try. What do you have to lose?

New Shoes Anyone?

For every workout you complete throw $1 in a jar. In no time at all you will see the $$$ piling up. Take that and do something nice for yourself. Treat yourself to a spa day, or maybe you might want to pick up some new workout gear. Whatever you do reward yourself for all of your hard work.

Photos

Pick out a photo of you, or of someone who inspires you. Put it up on your refrigerator so that you can see it every time you walk past. Being able to see what you want and what you are working towards will help you keep on track and make it a little easier to stay away from the extra helping of potatoes.

Routines

I know routines seem a bit mundane but they work. Schedule a time every day to exercise and prep/plan your meals for the day. If you have to physically set time aside by scheduling this in your calendar then do just that. It is important for you to take time for you. Just as it is important it is very easy to think that you will get to it and something always comes up. So don't waste another minute, schedule your time now.

Thank you folks! I just texted my colleague we could certainly describe their superior Burlington based clinical psychologists, http://burlingtonpcs.com in a site blog. So if you're shopping for a clinical psychologist inside the Ontario vicinity, they certainly are excellent.

Ultimately, I should tell you the base concept regarding this particular piece was generously given by Brian from Calitso IT. They certainly are an excellent managed IT services. We always welcome a smart suggestion!
